One killed in blast

KOHAT, May 7: An Imam of a mosque was killed and four others were injured when a gas cylinder exploded in a beverage factory in Darra Adam Khel, frontier region of Kohat, on Saturday night.

The incident occurred in Shahi Cold Drinks Factory in Zor Kalay.

Umeedullah, a resident of Lakki Marwat who lived on the first floor of the building, was killed and four workers who were filling bottles on the ground floor were injured.

Injured Sabir, Ikram Ullah, Mohammad Ilyas and Fareed Khan had to be shifted to Peshawar because there was no electricity in the civil hospital Darra Adam Khel at that time.
