Balochistan to fill 142 vacancies

QUETTA, May 7: The Balochistan government will recruit 142 youths in different departments through the Public Service Commission. A recent meeting presided over by Chief Secretary K.B. Rind decided to fill vacant posts in the local government, communications and works, irrigation and power and public health engineering departments through the Balochistan Public Service Commission.

The meeting discussed the issue of jobless engineers and the Quetta development package worked out.

It was informed that 20 development projects with an estimated cost of Rs643.257 would be completed in the provincial capital during the current financial year.

The chief secretary told the development department that no hurdles should be created in release of funds allocated for the uplift programme for the city.

He said Quetta was confronting numerous problems and the government was making concerted efforts for providing facilities to the citizens.
