TIMERGARA: Rs9m to be spent on uplift schemes, says nazim

TIMERGARA, May 6: The district government has allocated Rs 9 millions, out of Rs 30.6 millions, for developmental schemes in Timergara tehsil of the Lower Dir district.

Tehsil Nazim Mohammad Umar informed members of the Timergara tehsil council on Saturday that the district government would give priority to public sector in the next annual development programme.

Convener Mahboob Shah presided over the Saturday’s proceedings.

The nazim said the Timergara tehsil had received Rs30.6 million of which Rs20.7 million would be spent on non-developmental activities and the rest on development schemes.

He said that the next budget would be presented in June.
