Gold Cup cricket

LAHORE, May 5: Lahore Gymkhana play Prince Club in the first match of the 9th Servis Gold Cup cricket tournament at the Bagh-i-Jinnah ground on Sunday.

In all, 16 teams are participating in the tournament and they have been divided into four groups.

The winners of each group will qualify for the semifinals.

The participating clubs are Aligarh Club, Punjab Club, Mughalpura Whites, Al-Hilal Club (A), Model Town Greens, Apollo Club, Shafqat Rana Club, Gen. Akhtar Abdul Rehman Club (B), Cricket Centre, Ludhiana Club, Universal Club, Muslim Gymkhana (C), Lahore Gymkhana, Prince Club, Imtiaz Club, Al-Bilal Club (D).
