FC captain among 4 hurt

QUETTA, May 4: Security forces using helicopter gunships carried out a fresh operation in Dera Bugti district after four Frontier Corps personnel, including an officer, were seriously injured in an attack on their vehicle on Thursday.

Sources said the FC personnel were patrolling the area when armed tribesmen attacked their vehicle with automatic weapons. “A captain and three FC soldiers received bullet injuries,” officials confirmed and identified the officer as Capt Fasihur Rehman.
