Women team for Bangkok

By A Sports Correspondent

KARACHI, May 4: A three-member Pakistan women’s tennis team is due to leave for Bangkok Saturday to make their debut in the Junior Federation Cup Asia-Oceania qualifier being held at a Thai city Nandabury from May 7.

Another member Amna Hameed who resides in London would join the team at Bangkok. Having captured women’s title of the KC national ranking tournament last year, she was exempted from the trials.

The other three women who earned selection in the team include Sara Mahboob, Sara Mansoor and Mehak Khokhar. Mahboob Khan would accompany the team as manager-cum-coach.
