Dareshak group wins PSC polls

RAJANPUR, April 4: The ruling PML group, backed by MNA Sardar Nasrullah Dareshak, on Thursday clinched all the three seats of the Public Safety Commission in the Rajanpur district.

Elections were held in Rojhan, Jampur and Rajanpur tehsils under the supervision of Rajanpur District and Sessions judge Muhammad Younas. Candidates, who lost the elections, also belonged to the ruling party having the support of the Mazari-Leghari group.

Sher Ali Khan Gorchani, Zahid Hussain Shah and Safia Durrani of the Dareshak group defeated Qazi Saifullah, Maryam Bibi and Naziran Bibi of the Mazari-Leghari group. — Correspondent
