LAHORE, May 2: Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi announced here on Tuesday that wheat would be purchased from the farmers having up to 12.5 acres on a priority during the campaign, setting the procurement target at three million for the year. He said each and every grain of wheat would be purchased from the farmers at the fixed rate. The entire wheat produce brought to the procurement centres would be bought from the farmers so that they could get due returns for their labour.
