KARACHI, May 2: Six ships carrying containers, steel and to load naptha are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was fairly active where over a dozen ships were berthed during the last two days. They are: Iran Baabaei, Hanjin Busan, Ever Guide, Bunga Kenari, Kota Teraju, Thor Captain, Y.M. Mondego, Iran Tabatabaei, to unload and load containers, Iron Butterfly, African Pal, with general cargo, Gusto to offload sugar, Shalamar to unload crude oil and Lady Jasmine to load molasses.

Sailing was also active as over a dozen vessels departed including MOL Silver Fern, E.O.S.1, Dina Queen, Adhidaya, Hangin Busan, Maersk Alabama, and Iron Butterfly.

They were followed by Iran Baabaei, Electra-1, Shalamar, Ever Guide, Bunga Kenari, Kota Teraju, Delta Ranger, Hwa Kun-332, and Samos, while Y.M. Mondego, African Pal, Angeliki-DIran Tabatabaei, Thore Captain and Man Pung are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where total tonnage soared to 0.309m tons during the last two days comprising 75,170 tons of export cargo including 8,783 tons of rice and 0.234m tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Plemonte, to load 60,000 tons of naptha, Kota Waris, Hyundaio Future, Y.M.Star, and Kota Tampan, with containers, and Patamot-R, with steel.
