ISLAMABAD, April 30: Mohammadi XI posted an exciting five-wicket victory over Saify XI to win the Rawalpindi Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat's Cricket Tournament on Sunday. The tournament was organized to celebrate the 95th birthday of the Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat's spiritual leader Dr Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin (TUS).

Saify XI were in sight of victory as Mohammadi XI needed 31 off the last two overs chasing a target of 163. However Murtaza Essence (22 not out) struck three successive sixes in the penultimate over of Salman Mufaddal that steered his team home with two balls to spare.

Abdullah Azhar (34) was the top scorer for the winners while Abdul Hussain (30), Hussain Ehsan Ali (25) and Abbas Zakiuddin (21) kept their team in the hunt.

Zohair Juzar (21) and Qasim Zoeb (20) also added valuable runs in the end to lift their team's total.
