Inter-university football
FAISALABAD, April 30: Punjab University, Lahore, and University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, have qualified for final of the Inter-university Football Championship after scoring identical victories on Sunday.
In first semifinal, Mehmoodul Hasan Faheem scored twice as Punjab University defeated International Islamic University, Islamabad, 2-1. Fazli scored for the losers.
In second semifinal, University of Agriculture beat Peshawar University 2-1.
Ehsanul Haq and Muzzammal scored the goals for the winners while Imran scored for the losers.
The final will be played on Monday at 4:30pm while the losing semifinalists will clash for third position at 8:30am.—APP
