KARACHI, April 29: The MMA parliamentary party in the Sindh Assembly on Saturday expressed its grave concern over the provincial government's failure in arresting perpetrators of the April 11 blast at Nishtar Park and the terrorist attack in which an IJT activist was killed in a local college. They demanded immediate arrest of the terrorists.

The parliamentary party held a meeting under the chairmanship of Maulana Umar Sadiq.

Expressing their concern over the deteriorating law and order situation, unabated killings ‘under official patronage’ and growing incidents of terrorism in Karachi, the legislators noted that nobody was safe in the city. They alleged that the IJT activist had been killed in broad daylight under police protection. —PPI
