QUETTA, April 20: Jamhoori Watan Party chief Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti has said the government has failed to establish its writ in Dera Bugti despite the presence of around 26,000 security personnel in the area.
Talking to journalists on satellite phone, he said heavy casualties of security personnel showed there was no government writ in the area.
He said ‘militants’ were resisting the forces successfully and achieving their targets by attacking them in different areas.
He claimed that in recent days, the forces had suffered heavy casualties as many injured personnel and bodies of security men had been sent to Rahimyar Khan from Dera Bugti and other areas in ambulances.
