KARACHI: Billo, Taqi laid to rest

KARACHI, April 12: Chief of Tehreek Awam Ahle Sunnat Pakistan, Hanif Billo, the former JUP MNA Hafiz Mohammad Taqi, and many others who died in the Nishtar Park bomb explosion on Tuesday were buried in various graveyards on Wednesday.

The funeral prayers of Haji Hanif Billo were offered in New Memon Masjid, led by Allama Turabul Haq Qadri, who himself had escaped narrowly in the blast. Hanif Billo was laid to rest in the Mewashah graveyard. His funeral prayers were attended by religious leaders and others.

The Namaz-i-Janaza of Hafiz Taqi was offered at Eidgah ground, M A Jinnah Road. Hafiz Taqi was buried in Yaseenabad graveyard.

The funeral prayers of Allama Asif were held in Memon Masjid Bantwa Nagar after Zuhr prayers and he was buried in Gulshan-i-Iqbal graveyard. Funeral prayer of Maulana Mukhtar was offered in Darul Uloom Amjadia and his coffin was dispatched to Mardan.

The funeral prayers of Ahmed Raza, 19, his brother Mohammad Ali, 17, and their cousin Shehzad, 16, were offered at Darul Uloom Amjadia and they were buried in Mewashah graveyard.

The funeral prayers of the leadership of Sunni Tehrik Maulana Abbas Qadri, Maulana Iftekhar Bhatti, and Maulana Akram Qadri, would be held on Thursday after Maghreb prayers.
