KARACHI: Alternative routes notified


KARACHI, April 12: Traffic police have announced alternate routes for vehicular traffic during the funeral prayers of Sunni Tehreek leaders on Thursday evening at Jamia Cloth Market, M.A. Jinnah Road.

According to DIG Traffic Falak Khursheed, all the vehicular traffic coming from Numaish roundabout to Tower will be diverted to Preedy Street from Tibbet Centre and reach Tower via Regal Chowk, Sharea Liaquat, Shaheen Complex, I.I. Chundrigar Road.

Similarly, all vehicles coming from Garden Road will be diverted from Jubilee Chowk to Garden area and reach Tower via Nishtar Road.

All traffic coming from Nishtar Road to Chand Bibi Road will be diverted to Nishtar Road from KMC Workshop crossing and reach Tower via Altaf Husain Road.

All vehicles will be diverted from Pakistan Chowk signal to Dr Ziauddin Road to reach its destination.

The traffic coming from Fresco roundabout via Mohammad Bin Qasim Road will be diverted to alternative route.

All traffic coming from Court Road to Urdu Bazar via Tyre Wali Road will be diverted to again Urdu Bazar.

Similarly, no vehicle will be allowed parking at M.A. Jinnah Road from Tibbet Centre to Light House signal. In addition, all the entries and exit points at M.A. Jinnah Road from Tibbet Centre to Light House signal will be closed between Maghrib and Isha. —APP
