OKARA, April 7: Four members of a family were killed while another sustained injuries when the roof of their house collapsed in Jethpur village, Deepalpur, on Thursday.
Labourer Tufail was preparing to go to his job and his family members were present in the room when the incident took place as a result of which his wife Naziran, daughter Fazeelat and sons Zishan and Sharafat buried alive while daughter Kausar sustained injuries. Neighbours pulled out the dead from the rubble.
SHOT DEAD: A shepherd was killed in Dara Dona village near Haveli Lakha.
It is learnt that shepherds Junaid and Asif were grazing their sheep in the fields. Junaid reportedly sat down to have meals. In the meanwhile, his sheep scattered far and wide.
Asif asked Junaid to get the sheep back but he refused to do so. They had an argument on the issue and Asif shot Junaid dead.
