KARACHI: Youth beat up constable

KARACHI, April 7: A traffic constable was badly beaten up and his uniform was ripped-off by two youths at the Club Road on Thursday evening. Police said that Constable Ayub Gul, posted at the PIDC Traffic section objected to the parking of a black car (Q-0833) by two youths at the Club Road, a no parking zone.

A duty officer of the Artillary police station said as the traffic constable asked them to remove the car, the two men started hurling abuses and also beat up the policeman. As the incident was reported to the senior police officers, a police mobile of the Artillay police station was dispatched to the spot.
