KARACHI, April 6: Four ships carrying containers, crude oil and chemicals are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where half a dozen vessels, including Kota Teraju, Marcalabpia, Sargodha, Haje Khereh and Ju Fu Men, to unload and load general cargo, and Ravan River, to load molasses, were berthed.

Sailing was also active as seven ships, Jade Trader, Iran Baabaei, APL Dailian, Kota Wajar, Ful City, Hyun Dwan and Atlantice Express departed, while Queen Trader, Y.M. Moon, Haje Khereh, Marclabpia, Hyundai Stride and Kota Teraju, are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 80,250 tons comprising 17,767 tons of export cargo and 62,483 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: CEC Pioneer, to offload general cargo, Al-Marwah, to unload chemicals, Swat, to offload crude oil, and Maersk Alabama, with containers.
