KARACHI, March 31: The following were Friday’s commodity market rates in rupees.

Oilseeds

RAPESEED (per 40 kg): Dadulane 730 to 735; Mirpurlane 640 to 675; Nawabshah 770 to 790; Castorseed (Sindh) 675 to 775.

EDIBLE OILS (per 40 kg): Coconut oil 3,600 to 4,000; Rapeseed and Mustard oil 2,180 to 2,270; Ghee Vanaspati (per 16 kg) 820 to 960.

OIL SEED CAKES (per 50 kg) with bag: Cottonseed 460 to 470; Rapeseed and Mustard (40 kg) 300 to 302.

Cereals

Jowar (per 100 kg): 950 to 1,050; Maize 930 to 950.

BARLEY (per 100 kg): (Sindh) 1,350; Wheat Mexi Pak 1,140 to 1,160; Bajra 1,350 to 1,550; Maida (80 kg) 1,150 to 1,230; Suji 1,150 to 1,180; Atta 990 to 1,010.

RICE (per 100 kg): 386 Basmati 1,800 to 2,600; Basmati Whole 3,500 to 4,200; Saila 2,000 to 2,700; Basmati Broken 1,500 to 1,800; Basmati Super 3,400 to 4,000; Irri-6 Sindh 1,200 to 1,300; Irri-9 Sindh 1,600 to 1,700.

Pulses

WHOLE (per 100 kg): Mash imported 3,800 to 4,200; Masoor imported 2,500 to 2,800; Moong (Punjab) 3,800 to 4,200; Gram Yellow 1,410 to 1,430; Gram white Kabli 3,800 to 4,800; Gram Black 2,180 to 2,320 Arhar 2,700 to 2,900.

WASHED (per 40 kg): Maash 1,800 to 1,950; Moong 1,800 to 1,900; Masoor 1,200 to 1,300; Arhar 1,300 to 1,500; Gram (100 kg) 2,650 to 2,950.

SUGAR (per 40 kg): 1,430 to 1,450; Sugar Desi 1,650 to 1,700; Gur 1,550 to 1,650.

Spices

WHOLE (per 40 kg): Chillies dandicut 1,100 to 1,400; Cumminseed white 3,400 to 4,400; Cumminseed black 5,500 to 6,500; Ajwan 1,400 to 1,500; Turmeric Gantha 1,500 to 1,600; Turmeric Lambi 1,400 to 1,500; Corianderseed (No I) 1,300 to 1,400. Corianderseed (No II) 1,200 to 1,300; Fenugreek (Methi) 1,000 to 1,100; Tamarind 1,200 to 1,400; Garlic 1,300 to 1,500; Plum Dry 3,500 to 4,500.

Poultry

EGGS: Rs470 to Rs475 per crate of 30 dozens, Broiler (Live): Rs48 per kilo; Culled Bird (Live): Rs24 per kilo.

The following are the maximum retail rates for Saturday:
