Landmine kills soldier

QUETTA, March 30: One soldier was killed and four others were injured in a landmine explosion in a village of the Nasirabad district on Thursday. Sources said a pick-up carrying security personnel hit a landmine while patrolling in Mullah Bakhsh village.

“The pick-up was blown in the powerful explosion,” police sources said, adding that a solider was killed and four others were injured who were taken to hospital. Meanwhile, an exchange of fire was reported between security forces and militants in Kohlu and Dera Bugti.
