Naseem leads team into final

KARACHI, March 30: Opener Naseem Khan slammed a brilliant unbeaten hundred to steer DHA into the final of DHA KCCA Trophy Inter-departmental cricket tournament by thrashing Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) by seven wickets in the second semifinal at the KCCA Stadium on Wednesday.

Naseem belted 13 boundaries in unbeaten 104 off 99 deliveries and Akbar Rahman finished 23 not out as DHA overhauled SSGC total in 35th over for the loss of just three wickets.

Earlier, SSGC were restricted to 205 for nine wickets in 50 overs of their innings with Adnan Malik making 55 with three boundaries.

DHA will take on Pak PWD in the final on Friday at the same venue.
