Kashmir issue main hurdle to peace: PM

ISLAMABAD, March 30: Pakistan, India and Kashmiris need to work together for the solution of Kashmir issue to establish sustainable peace in South Asia. This was stated by Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz while talking to Hamid Nasir Chattha, the Chairman, Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir who called on him at the Prime Minister’s House on Thursday.

The prime minister said that Pakistan valued the sacrifices made by Kashmiris’ for the Kashmir cause and it was working for a solution of Kashmir in line with their wishes and aspirations.

He said that Pakistan and India needed to take bold decisions for an early solution of the Kashmir dispute. The proposals made by the Pakistan President form the basis for the negotiations for a lasting solution of the issue.
