MoU with Mauritius


KARACHI, March 30: Chief Executive State Trading Corporation of Mauritius Ranjit Singh Soomarooh held a meeting with Chairman Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) Asif Zaman Ansari at the TCP on Thursday.

The two sides held detailed discussions on ways and means to promote bilateral trade and areas of mutual interest, says a press release.

Both the officials discussed a draft MoU proposed to be signed between the two countries in Islamabad on March 31. It provides a broad framework for further strengthening of trade ties between Pakistan and Mauritius.

Mr Singh showed interest in buying cotton products, rice and wheat flour from Pakistan. A list of items of trading interest to both the countries was also finalized.
