Sana to lead Greens

LAHORE, March 28: Sana Javed was named captain of the 16-member Pakistan Greens (women) which will play a five-match series against Delhi (India) Blues, touring Lahore from March 29 to April 7. Urooj Mumtaz Khan was appointed Sana’s deputy.

The team was selected after holding two-day trials at the GCU ground on Monday and Tuesday.

The Indian team is scheduled to cross Wagah Border on Wednesday.

The first match will be held at the Bagh-i-Jinnah ground on Friday and the second at the GCU ground on Saturday.

The third match is scheduled to be held at the Aitchison College, ground on April 3, followed by the fourth at the GCU on April 4. The LCCA ground will be the venue for the last match to be held on April 6.
