Newsman’s attacker at large


NAROWAL, March 26: Narowal police have failed to arrest a man who stabbed a local journalist on Saturday morning. An addict, Mazhar Husain alias Bablo had stabbed Arif Mahmood, a local daily correspondent, for refusing to give him money for drugs. Arif suffered serious injuries and was shifted to Lahore from the Narowal DHQ hospital due to his critical condition.

The Narowal city police have registered a criminal case against the addict. — Correspondent
