Demo against Afghan govt

By Our Correspondent

QUETTA, March 25: Relatives and sympathisers of 16 Pakistani nationals, who were killed by Afghan security forces in Spin Boldak on Wednesday, staged a demonstration outside the Afghan consulate demanding that the killers be handed over to the Pakistan government for trial.

Nearly 400 protesters, belonging to Nurzai, Khilji and Achakzai tribes, assembled at the lawn of city district government office on Saturday and marched towards the Afghan consulate.

They also hurled stones on the consulate building and tore off the portrait of President Hamid Karzai. They chanted slogans against the Afghan government and Commander Abdur Raziq.

Later they went to the press club where a press conference was held.
