GUJRANWALA, March 25: A teenaged girl, who was abducted by a rickshaw driver and his accomplices from Khiali on March 2, was recovered from a brothel in Lahore on Saturday.

Reports said that victim ‘S’ was kidnapped by Asim and his accomplices from Sardar Colony when she was on her way home from the market. They detained her in an empty house where they raped her and then sold her for Rs50,000 in a Lahore whore-house. On Saturday, police arrested the rickshaw driver and his accomplices and also recovered the girl from the brothel. Law enforcers also nabbed brothel owner Nasim Bibi.

Meanwhile, a local court recorded the statement of the victim and ordered her medical examination. The court also granted a one-week physical remand of the arrested accused. — Correspondent
