SUKKUR: Two killed in clash

SUKKUR, March 25: Two people were killed in an armed clash between two groups over a minor issue in Nau Wah village of the Shikarpur district on Friday. The two groups had scuffle over some minor dispute and after an exchange of hot words, they opened fire.

As a result, Arbab Marfani, 40, and Menhoon Marfani, 24, were killed on the spot.

The assailants fled from the scene. Two separate FIRs were registered at the Humayoon police station.

One FIR (21/2006) was registered by Ms Zuhran, mother of deceased Menhoon, against Arbelo, Khaliq, Safar and Arbab.

Another FIR (22/2006) was registered by Ms Shahnaz, wife of Nawab, against Mubarak, Ahmed, Hussain and Menhoon.
