Air link accord with Bosnia

ISLAMABAD, March 22: Pakistan and Bosnia-Herzegovina on Wednesday agreed to commence air operations between the two countries. Officials of the two countries signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on operate seven flights a week. Pakistani airlines will start service to Sarajevo and Bosnia while Bosnian airlines will operate service to Karachi and Lahore or Islamabad.

The MoU was signed by Maj-Gen (retd) Mohammad Ashraf Chaudhry, additional secretary ministry of defence, and Delal Haseci, deputy director general ministry of communications and transport Bosnia-Herzegovina.

An official, speaking after the signing of MoU, described the aviation talks between the two countries as highly successful and reflective of the good relations existing between the two countries.
