KARACHI, Mar 22: On the life of Imam Ahmad Raza and his services in the field of learning, 18 doctorates and 17 M Phil degrees have so far been awarded to scholars by different universities of India, Pakistan, Egypt and the US and now his scientific works are being translated into English so that modern-day world scholars could assess his contribution in the development of medical science, mathematics, and physics.

This was stated by President of Idara Tahqqeqat–i-Imam Ahmad Raza Sahibzada Syed Wajahat Rasool Quaderi while addressing a press conference at the Idara office on Wednesday. The Idara has over 1,000 books on the works of Imam Ahmad Raza, they said, adding an international moot is beginning from March 25 in a local hotel which will be attended by scholars from Pakistan and abroad, including India, Egypt, Kuwait, Syria and Saudi Arabia.

He said delegates have already started arriving to read out papers. They include Al-Syed Yusuf Hashim Al-Rifai from Kuwait, Dr Omar Bin Abdullah Kamil Al-Madani from Jeddah, Al-Shaikh Hassamuddin Al-Quaderi from Syria, Dr Juda Mohammad Al-Mehdi from Jamia Al-Azhar, Egypt and etc.
