KARACHI, March 22: The Adviser to Chief Minister on Information Technology, Noman Saigol, on Wednesday said the Sindh Information Technology Department’s priority was to bridge the digital gap between the poor and the rich.

He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of an ‘IT Mela’ at the Annu Bhai Park.

The two-day event is being organised to help foster awareness among the masses regarding information technology, its uses and benefits.

Saigol stated that the event was being organised by the Sindh IT Department keeping in view the significance of IT for the common man. He said such melas and public programmes would also be arranged in other cities and areas of the province besides Karachi. —APP
