Oil pipeline
BEIJING March 22: Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday he expects a pipeline to deliver Siberian oil to China to be built, sharply increasing Russian energy exports to China. Putin on Wednesday announced plans for a gas pipeline to China, but there was no word of agreement on the closely watched oil pipeline, a project for which Beijing has lobbied hard.—AP
