LAHORE, March 21: Sixteen more matches were decided in the men’s singles event and the winners entered the pre-quarterfinals of the All Pakistan tennis championship at the Bagh-i-Jinnah grass courts on Tuesday. Pakistan top seed Aqeel Khan started the campaign on a winning note thrashing Fayyaz Khan 6-1, 6-1.

Aqeel’s two brother Jalil Khan and Yasir Khan also made the last 16.

Jalil carved out 6-3, 6-0 win against Asif Kamal while Yasir showed no mercy to Mubashar Afridi in 6-0, 6-1 win.
