Total eclipse on 29th


ISLAMABAD, March 19: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be a total solar eclipse on March 29. On the basis of astronomical calculations, the department also predicted that the eclipse would be partially visible in various areas of Pakistan.

The total eclipse will be visible from Africa, Europe and Central Asia. The solar eclipse will begin at 12:37pm and end at 5:46pm on March 29 (Wednesday). However, the greatest eclipse (umbra) will begin at 1:35pm and end at 4:47pm.—APP
