Two policemen injured in attack

QUETTA, March 18: Two policemen were injured on Saturday in a hand-grenade attack in the Shahbaz Town area while a 12-year-old boy was wounded in Mastung after a pencil-bomb exploded in his hands. Two explosions occurred in the provincial capital in two different localities. One of the attack targetted the house of the son of Nawab Marri in the Brewery Road area.

Police sources said that two constables of the Falcon Squad were patrolling in the phase-III of the Shahbaz Town on their motorcycle when they were attacked with a hand-grenade. Both of them were injured seriously.

The injured policemen were identified as Mohammad Jahangir and Mubashir.

A 12-year-old boy identified as Khan Mohammad was also brought to the Bolan Medical College Hospital from the Mastung area with serious wounds.
