Army, Wapda share spoils

ISLAMABAD, March 18: Army and Wapda were tied on medals table with four golds each after two days of competitions in the first national ranking taekwondo championship at Hamidi Hall, Pakistan Sports Complex, on Saturday. Kashif Khan of Wapda won the men’s bantamweight while Mohammad Asif of Army triumphed in the men’s featherweight on Saturday. In the ladies competitions, Asma Zarin of Army was the victor in bantamweight and Samra Imdad bagged gold in featherweight.—APP
