KHAIRPUR: Protest against police

KHAIRPUR, March 18: Residents of Mohalla Munshi Darbar staged a procession on Saturday against the SHO of investigation police for allegedly torturing and manhandling Khadim Ansari, encroachment inspector of the taluka council.

They alleged Khadim had received serious injuries from continuous police torture and demanded his medical check-up.

HBL STRIKE: Employees in different branches of the Habib Bank Limited suspended work for an hour on Saturday in protest against the bank’s decision to sack 3,100 workers.
