Brazil sugar trade slow
SAO PAULO, March 18: Sugar and ethanol trade was slow this week due to expectations that the new cane crop will soon hit the market, traders said on Friday. About six mills in the center-south region have started crushing sugar cane in the 2006/07 harvest. Product should reach the market by the end of the month, though the volume is uncertain. —Reuters
