KARACHI, March 17: The judicial magistrate, South, Ms Naushaba Qazi, issued on Friday non-bailable warrants for the arrest of Nisar Khuhro, opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly, and other PPP MPAs in a case pertaining to staging a violent demonstration.
The PPP workers, including Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Sassi Palejo, Nasreen Chandio, Afreen Bhutto, Shazia Marri, Humera Alwani and Rashid Rabbani, were booked in 2004 by the Preedy police for damaging the official properties during a demonstration over the killing of PPP leader Munawwar Soharwardi.
