PESHAWAR, March 16: The Awami National Party women wing is organising a workshop on Monday on the election system in the country. The workshop will be held at the Bacha Khan Markaz on Monday.

Women activists of the party from the NWFP and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas would take part in the workshop being held at the Bacha Khan Markaz, provincial coordinator of ANP women wing, Zahira Khattak, told Dawn.

She said chapters of the wing had been established at district level.

“Women will actively participate in the party elections as well as general election next year,” Mrs Khattak said.

She said experts would speak at the workshop about the process of local bodies, general and Senate elections.

Meanwhile, Ms Khattak has nominated Hameeda Wisal as organiser of the party’s women wing in Nowshera district, says a press release.
