‘Opposition to launch struggle for democracy’

TAXILA, March 16: PML (N) acting parliamentary leader in the National Assembly and ARD central leader Ch. Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday said that the joint opposition would soon launch struggle for the restoration of democracy and 1973 constitution.

Talking to newsmen after addressing party activists at the inauguration of the party office here he said that the opposition parties had agreed to form a unified strategy on all political matters and to pressurize the government to restore democracy and the Constitution of 1973.

He said that the opposition would demand a neutral caretaker government that would hold the general elections.

He pledged to continue struggle for the restoration of democracy besides ensuring people’s fundamental rights and supremacy of the Parliament.
