Award for HBL chief

KARACHI, March 15: Zakir Mahmood, President and CEO of Habib Bank, has been awarded ‘The Asian Banker Achievement Award 2005’ for leadership in Pakistan. The award has been initiated by the Asian Banker to recognize individual achievements in the financial services industry on an annual basis.

A total of 380 nominations from the financial industry were received from all the countries in the region. Each nomination was assessed by the Asian Banker research staff and the winners were finally selected by an external panel of distinguished international judges. The award ceremony was held in Bangkok. It was attended by leading bankers in Asia.
