Goods train derailed

NAWABSHAH, March 14: The engine and a bogie of a goods train derailed between Jam Saheb and Shafiabad railway stations on Tuesday morning. The train coming from Mirpurkhas was going towards Nawabshah when it derailed at about 8:40 am. Two water tanks attached with the engine also fell on the track.

Nawabshah station master Mohammad Mubin said that dilapidated rail tracks were to blame for the accident. After the mishap, a team of railway engineering wing rushed to the spot and started repairs.
