BEIJING, March 11: China’s Chen Jin will face Denmark’s Peter Gade in the final of the China Masters badminton tournament after both scored contrasting victories in the semifinals on Saturday.

While eight seed home star Jin swept aside the challenge of Denmark’s Kenneth Jonassen in straight games 21-16, 21-18, veteran Gade lost the second game but hit back to topple China’s top seed Lin Dan 21-18, 19-21, 21-19 and the possible All-Chinese finala.

But the women singles final will be an all-Chinese affair. Wang Lin beat Hong Kong’s Wang Chen 19-21, 21-18, 21-17 while Xie Xingfang outlasted Holland’s Mia Audina Tjiptawan 21-15, 12-21, 21-11.
