Three killed in road accident

KASUR, March 10: Three people were killed and 40 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a van at Thatha Dogran, seven kilometres away from here, on Lahore-Kasur Road on Friday.

A bus was on its way to Lahore when it collided with a wagon coming from the opposite side near Thatha Dogran. Three people — Mushtaq (7), Babar (12) and Latifa Bibi — died on the spot, while 40 others sustained injuries.

The injured were taken to the DHQ Hospital from where 11 of them were shifted to the Lahore General Hospital owing to critical condition.
