SC dismisses plea against N.As judges’ appointment
ISLAMABAD, March 10: The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed a constitutional petition against appointment of two judges to the Northern Areas Chief Court.
Justice Sardar Mohammad Raza Khan heard the case in chamber and dismissed the petition, accepting the petitioner’s application for withdrawal.
Former general-secretary of the Northern Areas Bar Association, Advocate Mohammad Farooq, had filed the petition challenging the last year appointment of two judges of the Chief Court of Northern Areas, Muzaffar Ali and Sahib Khan.—APP
