KARACHI, March 10: The Jama’at Ahle Sunnat chief, Syed Shah Turabul Haq Qadri, has said that despite worldwide protests over blasphemy, there is no change in the attitude of Muslim rulers and they continue to pursue their policies to appease their non-Muslim masters.
The JAH chief, while addressing a press conference at its office here on Friday, pointed out that the protection of Namoos-i-Risalat is the cornerstone of the faith of every Muslim; and all non-Muslims, from the US to Russia and Europe had now realized about the devotion and respect for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The JAS chief said on March 11 a Namoos-i- Risalat conference was being organized on Saturday at provincial level in Khairpur Mirs, where delegations from all over Sindh would attend the moot, while on the same night “Labaika Ya Rasool Allah “Namoos-i-Risalat conference will be held at Nishtar Park.
Meanwhile on Friday Pakistan Awami Tehreek took out a protest procession on wheels against blasphemy, and before culminating peacefully its participants staged a peaceful protest outside Karachi Press Club where they were addressed by PAT leaders, including Maulvi Iqbal Haider. They demanded the European countries to hand over those who indulged in blasphemy acts so that they should be tried and punished according to the laws of the land.
