KARACHI, March 10: Rich tributes were paid to renowned poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz at a programme held at the Arts Council of Pakistan on Wednesday.

The programme was organized by the Academic Committee of the Arts Council.

Provincial Ombudsman Yousuf Jamal said Faiz possessed true qualities of a real artist who could be called a master of arts and culture.

Dr Qamar-uz-Zaman, Prof Sahar Ansari, Mirza Shaharyar Khan and Khawaja Rafiq Anjum also spoke.—APP
