Tariq slams hat trick for St Lawrence
KARACHI, March 9: Tariq blasted four goals to fire St.Lawrence School to a massive 12-0 victory over hapless St Frances Xavier School in the Inter-school Under-14 football championship at CDGK Stadium on Thursday.
Striker Tariq struck one goal in the first period and added three more in the second session.
Zohaeb Asad, Bazil Kevin and Talal Ayub scored brace of goals for winners. Taha Hasan and Zaryab Asad completed the tally.
In another match of the day, St Monica’s School beat Marium High School 2-1.
Abbas opened the scoring for the winners in the third minute.
Mariun High School levelled the scores through Ajmal.
But Abbas made sure a victory for St Monica School when he scored the last goal a couple of minutes before final whistle.—Agencies
