KARACHI, March 9: Karachi Hockey Association (KHA) elections will be held again for the third time on March 12 at Sindh Sports Board (SSB) Complex. Sindh Sports Minister Qamar Mansoor, also the provincial coordinator of elections in Sindh, on Thursday assured of “transparent elections” under the supervision of director of SSB Ghulam Akbar Shah Bukhari.

He said elections would be held panel wise adding that the names for panels could be submitted at the presiding office at Old KDA Building, Sindh Secretariat No 3 on Friday and Saturday during office timings.

Earlier, the elections were postponed because of allegations by secretary Gulfaraz Ahmad of attempted rigging by secretary scrutiny committee Iftikhar Syed and director domestic Muhammad Shafiq.

The elections were held again and both Gulfaraz and Ejazuddin were “elected” secretary to hold office for two years each—PPI
